Discussion on Privacy: Worldcoin executives meet Malaysian leaders

Worldcoin executives recently engaged with top Malaysian officials to address ongoing privacy concerns and regulatory hurdles.

In a social media post by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the meeting highlighted potential collaboration opportunities, including strategic expansion into Malaysia. Attendees included Deputy General Secretary of the Ministry of Digital, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation CEO Ts. Mahadhir Aziz, and Director General of the Department of Personal Data Protection Mohd Nazri bin Kama.

The post mentioned discussions with Nordstar and its portfolio companies, including Nothing, Airwallex, and Worldcoin, attended by Minister of Digital YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo and YBrs. Tuan Ma Sivanesan.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently commended Worldcoin’s efforts to enhance user data privacy, acknowledging their improvements. Buterin praised Worldcoin for taking privacy critiques seriously and designing their system to be more data-minimal.
